Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles- none of them had more real estate activity in the past decade than Dallas’ metro.
According to StorageCafe, a strong job sector and healthy economy has led Dallas to rapid expansion that included a record 50,000 permits for new single-family housing in 2021, even amidst the global pandemic.
As housing inventory remains sparse in DFW, it will be interesting to see how rate increases affect the real estate landscape moving further into 2022. Will this overwhelming seller’s market continue?
